Korea Medal 1950-1953

Approved By King George VI in 1951 it was awarded in recognition of the services ot the British Armed Forces in repelling agression in Korea.
The Qualifying periods were twenty-eight days afloat for the Royal Navy, one day in Korea for the Army amd for the RAF one operational patrol over Korea or Korean waters. A Bronze oakleaf signifying a Mention in Despatches is worn on the ribbon.
