Raid by the British Special Air Service SAS in November 1941 in Libya, prior to operation Crusader. In addition to disabling and disrupting three important German communication and command links, the operation had a fourth obejective, the liquidation of Erwin Rommel, the German commander in North-Africa. The mission was a failure.
