“… Hauptmann Eberhard Wolfram… stormed a strongly fortified enemy village at the head of his Grenadier-Kompanie during the heavy fighting east of Vyazma in the middle of last August. He then successfully defended against furious Bolshevik attacks in a series of bitter battles.”
