Biography

7th September, 1940: Oberfeldwebel, shot down by British antiaircraft fire crash-landed on the Rein Farm, Stadsbydg, 25 km North West of Trondheim, crew unhurt
15th July, 1942: Oberleutnant, KIA with Werknummer 430.265 took off on a recon flight from Trondheim and failed to return from a mission at Flykollen, Jan Mayen Island, due to bad weather, crashing at Kollen, near Kapp Wien - remaining crew (all KIA):
-Weather Insp Heinrich Beuck, Observer;
-Ofw Herbert Bunge, R/O
-Fw Günther Geerhan, Gunner.
1958: Werknummer 430.265 discovered and bodies recovered
