Biography

Ernst Lanné was killed in the crash with Junkers Ju 52/3m 7U+IL (Werknr. 7147) of 10. Staffel, III. Transportgruppe on November 6th, 1944. The aircraft crashed near Diggeronden at the Rondane Massive. Al crwe and passengers were killed in the crash. On board were crwemembers Stabsfeldwebel Ewald Schülz, Oberfeldwebel Gerhard Riszmann and Oberfeldwebel Hermann Freybert and passagiers Oberst Paul Gähtgens (Oberquartiermeister AOK Norwegen), Oberstleutenant Ernst Lenné, Oberst Hans Erdmann, Major Herbert Kienast, Oberfeldintendant Dr. Georg Alves, Oberstleutenant Josef Schneetz, Fregattenkapitän Carl Werner, Geschwaderintendant Günter Oesterling, Prof. OT Ulrich Fisher and Obergefreiter Ludwig Steinboeck.
