Biography

Raymond Frank Stunek was born on 20th January 1925. He attended the Grade School and Cathedral Latin Highschool in Cleveland, Ohio. After Highschool he entered the U.S. Army, was assigned to the 28th Infantry Division and later to the 2nd Infantry Divison.
He landed on Normandy Beachhead on D-Day + 1 and was wounded
near Brest on 4th August 1944. From August until 6th April 1946, he spent time in hospitals in England, Utah and
Illinois. He was Discharged Honorably on 6th August 1946.
