15.10.1943: transferred to 1./ Fsch.Jg.Rgt. 7 as a Zugführer
16.04.1944: Leutnant, 1./ Fsch.Lehr-Abt. awarded the DKiG
29.06.1944: transferred to Reserve Lazarett 101a.
01.12.1944: transferred to Reserve Lazarett 101 Döberitz

He had been Latin teacher before the war at a school in Saarland and spoke perfectly French and Italian.
He survived the war and lived in the German Democratic Republic.
