Biography

1941-1942: Employed by Frank Cooley, Little Rock Arkansas. Did repair works on auto bodies in garage. Hand filed metal surfaces of bodies, doors, wheels, fenders, and other parts. Filed out minor defects and hammered out major defects.

7 July 1942: Inducted and entered military service
21 December 1945: Honourable discharge

Was in charge of a rifle platoon consisting of 44 men with rifles, automatic rifles, grenade launchers, etc. The unit was used to destroy enemy personnel and to capture and hold enemy positions. Was responsible for the control and coordination of the unit. Served in the European Theatre of Operations 10 months.
