William Halpin enlisted on 11th August 1943 and sered until 8th October 1945. He served with Pontoon Assembly Detachement Navy 131 and Pontoon Assembly Detachement No. 2.
William T. Halpin was also entiteld to wear the ribbon for the Navy/Marine Corps Unit Commendation.
