Biography

aka "Méridien" – "Colleone" - "Fantassin" – Victor Arnoult – Jacques Valcabrère-Allègre.
1939-40 : campaign in France and Belgium in the 29e Régiment de Dragons
January 1942 : French Resistance : regional chief for Jura in the Secret Army (Armée secrète - AS), merging all paramilitary elements coming from the 3 main resistance movmeents in the southern zone : 'Combat', 'Libération' and 'Franc-Tireur'.
January 1943 : tracked by the Gestapo, exfiltrated to London by plane and appointed to the BCRA, responsible for the M Region (Normandy, Brittany and Anjou).
12 September 1943 : infiltrated ivoTours - France to organize the resistance movements in 14 departments of the region M.
31 May 1944 : WIA by bullets and arrested by the Gestapo in Paris, transported to the "rue des Saussaies" where he is interrogated by the German police.
1st June 1944 : transfered to the Hospital de la Pitié, died without a word the 2nd June 1944 and burried in Montréjeau - Haute Garonne.
