Biography

Private First Class, Karl K. Johnson was in three separate military campaigns in World War 2.
Beginning with his U.S. Army induction on June 15th, 1943, he was trained as a demolition Specialist within the U.S. Third Army. He underwent basic training at Fort McClain and was shipped overseas in June of 1944.
He was first deployed to the Campaign of Northern France, then was deployed to the Campaign of Ardennes and finally the Campaign of the Rhineland. Pfc. Johnson was attached to the U.S. 104th Infantry Division within the Third Army.
