Biography

Servicenumber 37738969.

The in 1913 Lebanese born Farris Attollah Farris Maroun, emigrated at the age of 13 to the United States, receiving the name of Fred C. Farris. In 1938 he married, Louise M. Dawaliby, the daughter of a Lebanese immigrant. The couple had three children.

In March 1944 he was drafted and volunteered for service in the Infantry. He received his basic training at Camp Fannin, Texas and in September he was send to England with 120th Infantry Regiment, 30th Infantry Division. He was killed in Germany on October 22nd, 1944.
