Biography

Hans-Heinrich Döhler served as Kommandant "U 21" and "U 606". He was killed in action on February 22nd, 1943 when his ship was sunk at 47.44N / 33.43W by the U.S.C.G.C. Campbell. He sunk a total of three ships with a total of 20.527 BRT and damaged two others with a total of 21.925 BRT in two operational sorties (100 sea days at sea). He had finally reached the rank of Oberleutnant zur See.
