Arthur Charles Cochrane was born on April 27th, 1919 as the son to A. O. Cochrane and Helen Cochrane. He was reported missing in action on March 31st, 1943. His name is being commemorated at the Malta Memorial, Panel 6, Column 1.

Since joining the squadron in August, 1942, Fit. Lt. Cochrane has shown himself to be a most capable and keen pilot and flight commander. One night in January, 1945, in moonlight, he destroyed a three-engined enemy aircraft, bringing his total victories to seven enemy aircraft destroyed."
