Biography

Edward King entered service at Picton, Ontario, Canada on September 11th, 1939. In 1940 he landed with the 1st Battalion Hastings and Prince Edward Regiment as part of the Second BEF in France. He married Marjorie Clark Thompson on April 22nd, 1941.
He took part in the invasion of Sicily on July 16th, 1943 and landed in Italy on September 2nd, 1943.
Edward King was released from service at Canadian Forces Base Valcartier on June 14th, 1954.
