Biography

Engelbert (Enk) Julius Luidpold Johann Maria Feldhaus van Ham was in the resistance during the Second World War. Due to his German nationality, he was conscripted. Enk managed to defect to the Allies during the battle of El Alemein. He joined the Princess Irene Brigade on April 4, 1943 and subsequently landed in Normandy on August 8, 1944.
