Biography

Robert Aubrey Alexander Doherty was probably killed in action on February 23rd, 1945 as Flight Lieutenant and Pilot with the crash of Havilland Mosquito B.Mk.XX "KB350" from No. 608 (North Riding) Squadron near Hohn/Rendsburg/Kiel, Germany. The aircraft, in which he and Navigator Flying Officer Leonard Moore were on their way for an operation over Berlin, was reported missing in action in the night of February 23rd/24th, 1945.
