Biography

Jan Bockma was a Dutchman who voluntarily reported at the French Foreign Legion in 1942. He was a secret agent for the BBO (Bureau Special Assignments), part of the SOE. In the service of the BBO he made his last flight in the Lockheed Hudson FK790 on 6 July 1944. On a secret sabotage mission, they were shot down by a German Night Fighter. The entire crew died in the crash.
