Biography

James Short, already in posession of a flying licence before he joined, served in the RCAF from June 22nd, 1940 until May 23, 1945. He was originally a Flight Instructor until February 1942 and went oversees on Mary 27, 1994 where he was a Flight Lieutenant with 419 Squadron flying Lancaster Bombers. He was honorably discharged on September 28th, 1945.
