Biography

Air victories: 2 (2x Me 110). On 7th September his Hurricane was severely hit by a Me109. Subsequently his plane caught fire and he barely managed to bale out, his body being burnt for 70%. Although plastic surgery was experimental in those days he was operated 22 times by Dr McIndoe.
