Biography

Born in Mexico in Sept. 19 of 1919 from British fathers. He joined the Fleet Air Arm in 1941 flying Albacores in North Africa in 1942 with squadron 775 & 826, attacking the Afrika Korps troops day and night and also snellboots of the Kriegsmarine. In 1943 he carried out operations from carriers in the Mediterranean Sea. The next year he flew the Swordfish with squadron 785 on the Artic Routes secorting convoys with carrier HMS Campania and Vindex. In December 13 of 1944 he helped sink the U-boat U365. For all these actions he received the Distinguish Service Cross. After WW2 he moved to Venezuela and became citizen of the country in the 50s, dying in Caracas in 2002.
