    Enlisted 5 December, 1941 at Melbourne, Victoria in RAAF;
    Embarked at Melbourne for Canada for training then to UK;
    Commissioned June 1944;
    Served with RAF Sqns 7 and 582, both Path Finder squadrons, and 215;
    Qualified for Path Finder Badge 2 August, 1944 as Pilot Officer;
    Served two tours of duty with a Path Finder squadron
    Discharged 29 June, 1946 ex 21 Operational Training Unit.
