Biography

Vladimir Vaisser was born on 17 July 1921 and drafted into service in 1940. He commanded the 2nd Tank Battalion of the 11th Novograd Volyn Tank Brigade (25th Tank Corps). He was killed during heavy fighting for the train station of Chopovychi, on 20 December 1943. He knocked out several tanks during this tank battle.
