Biography

Ivan Aramonov. born on 7 March 1918, was drafted into service in 1940. He was awarded the 'Hero of the Soviet Union' title for merit during the crossing of the Dniepr river in September 1943. Lieutenant Ivan Aramonov was seriously injured in late December 1943 and died of his wounds in a hospital on 5 January 1944.
