Biography

Johnnie A. Witter entered service at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas on December 17th, 1942. Between May 1943 and September 1945 he served in Europe with Headquarters & Service Company van het 307th Engineer Battalion. He was honorably discharged at the Separation Center, Jefferson Barracks, Missouri on September 22nd, 1945.

Was also entitled to wear the Presidential Unit Citation Badge as from September 15th, 1944.
