Biography

Was Sergeant / Observer, son of Sam and Kitty Jacobsen from London, Stamford Hill. His aircraft was a Lancaster DX-H. Serial no. ED-319. The plane took off on 9 January 1943 at 17:22 from Scampton in order to bomb Essen. It crashed down at 20:02 in Haarzuilens Vleuten. The squadron was No. 57 and he was No. 1318066. He was a Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve and was only 19 years old.
