"Distinguished himself in the battle of Kirdan on July 18-22, 1941. The squadron received an order to attack. Despite the enemy fire, the squadron commander Visaitov personally led the squadron, overran the outposts and wedged into the enemy's defenses. In the following days, the squadron repelled the attacks of the Germans on three occasions. In these battles, Captain Visaitov showed personal courage and was wounded.
