According to some sources, Rüdiger von Kirchmayr is supposed to have been awarded with the Ritterkreuz des Eisernes Kreuzes. In this case the data of March 25th, 1945 and April 27th, 1945 have been mentioned. Although a rejected recommendation from February 1945 is known, until the day of today no proof has been provided which supports any actual awarding.
