The battery crossed as one of the first units the Dnieper near the village of Zurubintsy on 25 September 1943. In the following days, his battery succesfully operations in battles for holding and expanding the bridgehead near the village of Veliky Bukrin, repulsing numerous enemy counterattacks and inflicting considerable damage to the enemy manpower and equipment."
