Biography

On 24 July 1945, Group Captain Walter Dicks was recommended for an MBE, but it appears that he was never granted one. His citation reads:

Headquarters in Canada and Overseas, as well as in the field, and at all times his leadership, determination and devotion to duty has set an excellent example to those associated with him.
