1942 : enter the Legion Tricolore as Enseigne de Vaisseau de 1re classe (Navy lieutenant)
February 1943 : enter the LVF as chief of the staff compagny of the III.Bat. - IR 638 - LVF
23rd July 1943 : severely WIA during a patrol
September to November 1943 : company commander of the 9.Kie IR 638 - LVF
November 1943 to August 1944 : Adjudant-major of the III.Bat. IR 638 - LVF
September 1944 : enter the Waffen SS as an Obersturmführer and chef of the 8.Kie in the Waffen Gren. Reg. der SS Nr. 57
28 December 1944 to 1st February 1945 : sent to the company commanders course in Döberitz
February 1945 : appointed to the Franz. SS-Gren.Ausbildung und Ersatz Bataillon
