September 1944 : enter the Waffen SS as an Obersturmführer and chef of the 8.Kie in the Waffen Gren. Reg. der SS Nr. 57
28 December 1944 to 1st February 1945 : sent to the company commanders course in Döberitz
February 1945 : appointed to the Franz. SS-Gren.Ausbildung und Ersatz Bataillon
