Frontflugspange für Transportflieger

The Frontflugspange für Transport- und Luftlandeflieger was instituted on 19th November 1941 in the grades bronze, silver and gold for 20, 60 and 110 operational sorties. Until that moment the Transport- and Luftlandeflieger were awarded with the Frontflugspange für Kampfflieger. A hanger with the gold grade was instituted on 26th June 1942 for 500 operational sorties. For every 100 more sorties a golden hanger with sorties number was introduced on 29th April 1944.
