747293 | 15 | Bn HQ moved forward to position evacuated by C Company. Four more prisoner had found them s came in from C Coy who had found them in a farm near their forward position. All Coys positions were shelled & mortared during the day. During the day CO received orders that 2RUR would next day move forward passing through the Lincolns to capture & occupy KLEINDORP to the south of the Lincolns wood. This would be carried out while 8Br Inf Bdewere attacking eastwards from the wood towards VENRAY. After dark Bn HQ & the remaining CoysB & D moved down to positions in the Lincolns wood and dug in for the night. Bn HQwas at 747293 |
