Biography
Brilliant lawyer, he fought as an infantry reserve officer during the French Campaign in June 1940.
21.06.1940 : joined per ship the Free French troops in London via Sète, Spain and Gibraltar
1940 : appointed deputy commander of the 1st Free French paratrooper unit
January 1941: commander of the 1st Free French paratrooper unit
1941 : severely wounded during a training jump - joined the Free French secret services (BCRA)
March 1942 : appointed to general de Gaulle staff
28.05.1942: even if wounded, volunteered to jump ivo Paris as head of the mission 'Goldfish' to liaise with all the communists groups in France
His NCO having been tortured, he was captured by the Gestapo and commited suicide with his cyanide pill to remain silent.
