7 October 1945 WO 171/7822 - 110 Provost Company
Normal Duties carried out at PREETZ, PLON, KIEL and NEUMUNSTER. Patrols reported ne unusual incidents in NEUMUNSTER, PREETZ and PLON. AT KIEL enquiries are still being made in the case of the stabbed Pole. Patrols out in search of Gnr. Hanson an absentee.

Normal Duties carried out at PREETZ, PLON, KIEL and NEUMUNSTER. At NEUMUNSTER investigations were carries out in two V.D. cases N.C.Os. visited 20 Beach Recovery Section regarding the loss of G.1098 kit, as a result of enquiries a German civilian was arrested. Cafes and Cinemas in the town visited, dress and conduct of troops good. No incidents to report from PREETZ and PLON. At KIEL fout young German girls who have been consorting with British troops and are suspected of V.D. were taken to be medically examined. Gnr. Hanson absentee, wanted for robberty with violence was arrested by two N.C.Os of this detachment.

19 October 1945 WO 171/7822 - 110 Provost Company
Normal duties carried out at PREETZ, PLON, KIEL & NEUMUNSTER. KIEL Det. reports, a civilan car was traced & inpounded, N.C.O. attended court ref 4 Poles concerned in armed robbery. Sentences passed were 2 for 10 years, 1 for 2 years 1 for 1 year. Invenstigations concerning a soldier Gnr Hanson, later in the day this soldier was seen, chase given, but managed to get away, Police bloodhound brought in to take up scent, but lost it. Search continues. Further investigations were carried out regarding illicit Still found in D.P. camp. No 5 Section investigated a traffic accident day & night patrols out. No 7 Section visited scene of accident and enquiries made. Day & night foot patrols carried out. No 9 Section carried out V.D. investigation, 2 civilians arrested for Curfew offences who were aided and abetted by 2 soldiers who were charged, Speed traps operated, resultingi n 2-252's & one report, Report made concerning 2 Polish D.P.'s who had been arrested.

22 October 1945 WO 171/7822 - 110 Provost Company
Normal Duties carried out at PREETZ, PLON, KIEL and NEUMUNSTER. At NEUMUNSTER a road accident was reported, and Speed Check carried out, Check was made on “Out of Bounds Cafes” all was found to be in order. At KIEL the search for Gnr Hanson still continues, from evidence received it is believed that he has not vacated the KIEL area. 12 German Girls were taken from Eichof D.P. Camp for medical examination.

23 October 1945 WO 171/7822 - 110 Provost Company
Normal Duties carried out at PREETZ, PLON, KIEL and NEUMUNSTER. Mobile Patrol at PREETZ reported German Truck with traileers for being over maximum length permitted. Speed Check at NEUMUNSTER, one A.F.B. 252 submitted, It was observed by the N.C.Os. on duty that speeding is on the decline, day and night foot patrols carried out, dress and conduct of troops good. At KIEL a Danisch girl was arrested and conveyed to the C.I.D. Female Dept., as a suspected V.D. carrier. Search for Gnr. Hanson still carried out.

24 October 1945 WO 171/7822 - 110 Provost Company
Normal Duties carried out at PREETZ, PLON, KIEL and NEUMUNSTER. A speed check was carried out at NEUMUNSTER, three A.F.Bs. submitted. Two V.D. investigations carried out, both women traced. Day and evening patrols reported dress and conduct of troops good. At KIEL the search for Gnr Hanson still continues.

25 October 1945 WO 171/7822 - 110 Provost Company
Normal Duties carried out at PREETZ, PLON, KIEL and NEUMUNSTER. At NEUMUNSTER a German Civilian Woman was arrested for failing to report for V.D. treatment. Day and Evening Foot patrols carried out, discipline and dress of troops good, Speed Check operated, no results. At KIEL five N.C.Os. attended the Military Court, a Pole was arrested for circulating after Curfew, the search for Gnr. Hanson still continues.
