Biography

According to documents in the archives of the Oorlogsgravenstichting , he was a member of the Groningen student resistance group "De Ploeg" and was in hiding in Amersfoort. He studied medicine in Groningen, was arrested in August 1944 and died of dysentery in Aurich on November 28 of that year.
