Bn in state of readiness from previous evening until first light, as certain enemy activity reported in FORET DE HALOUZE. Stand-easy order given after breakfast. Capt Short and Lieut Pemberton brought in 4 PW who had been handed to them by civilians whilst they were out in their ‘jeep’.
