Biography

Jacob Willem Stuyver was a student and was arrested on 6-1-1945 for espionage and imprisoned in the Oranjehotel Scheveningen.

On 8-3-1945 at the age of 20 he was executed in reprisal for the attack on Rauter along with 37 others on the Waaldorpervlakte. His remains were identified and buried at Oud Eik en Duin in The Hague. In 1965, he was reburied on the Loenen National Field of Honour.

In his memory, with the cooperation of the 18 June Association, a Death Plaque was placed on the wall of his former home address De Eerensplein 32, The Hague.
