Nicholas Joseph Lavroix was born on March 15th, 1897 as the son to Alphonse Lac(c)roix and Marie Lacroix-Honhon. He was killed in action on October 2nd, 1918 and served as Soldaat 2 klasse with the 9e Compagnie, 3e Bataljon, 14e Linieregiment. At first he was buried in Grave 10 at the cemetery in Westrozebeke, West Vlaanderen. Uncertain is if the grave is still there.
