On 20-11-1942 at 3.06 pm the Bristol Beaufighter EL454 "ND-O" of 236 Squadron took off from North Coates in the county of Lincolnshire to take part in an attack on a German convoy in the North Sea.
At 4.02 pm the Bristol Beaufighter was shot down by German anti-aircraft fire and crashed in the North Sea near Hoek van Holland.
On April 4, 1943, Fraser washed up at Castricum aan Zee.
