“During the French Campaign Oberstleutnant Pochat delivered particularly valuable documents to the higher commands as a result of the extremely prudent reconnaissance he conducted. He furthermore also distinguished himself while serving as a Vorausabteilung commander. He and his Abteilung achieved outstanding feats as a result of his magnificent example of devotion to duty, courage and endurance.”
