    Biography

    Georg Lassen was born in Berlin-Steglitz on May 12th, 1915. He entered service with the Reichsmarine on April 5th, 1935. During the Second Wordl War he served on board the "U 29" and the "U 160" and as Chef Offizierskompanie / 1. U-Baulehrdivision. During his career he sunk a total of 26 ships with a combined tonnage of 156.082 BRT and damaged 5 ships with a total of 34.419 BRT.
