Biography

Wilhelm Wilkesman, a German born, moved to Manitoba, Canada in 1930. He joined the RCAF in 1941, trained at No. 7 Initial Training School and No. 7 AOS and graduated in October 1942. He was posted to the UK 1st Nov 1942 and served as a navigator for a full tour of duty, then attached to US forces for SDO duties.
He completed some 60 missions with 101 squadron over German territory and survived the war.
