    Biography

    Stefan Stegman was born on October 15th, 1910. He escaped to England in 1939 and joined the RAF in January 1940. He was shot down with his Spitfire BR143, SZ-Q on June 17th, 1943 near the Belgian coast. His body washed ashore at Oostende on July 3rd, where he was buried.
