Prime example of a real legionair. He was wounded for the first time on September 6th, in the vicinity of Tolotschin where he earned the admiration of all his comrades for his perseverance under fire. On April 26th, 1943, in the vicinity of Mitrowka, while establishing a connection between two points in order to find support, he was abruptly cut off from his comrades and surrounded by enemies on the edge of a forest. He was captured by the enemy after all his munition was exhausted. He died after having defended himself courageously. An example of the best military abilities, appreciated by all for his obvious qualities of energy, courage and brotherhood.
