    Biography

    Wouter van Dam lived in Harderwijk, the Netherlands at the Smeerpoortenbrink 9. He married Grietje Gerards (October 25th, 1905, Harderwijk - September 8th, 1971, Enschede). The cople had one child. His profession was city service member and he was reformed of religion. As a resistance member he was member of the LO-Harderwijk, the Raad van Verzet and the Binnenlandse Strijdkrachten (BS), of which he was a platoon commander. By treason he was arrested on January 26th, 1945. With a group of others he was executed March 2nd, 1945 at 07.30 hours in a field as reprisal of the murder on four German military.
