Biography

Elsie June moved to the Hague with her husband, whom she married in 1925. Her husband was interned in a prison camp in Germany, and their house and business were expropriated. Elsie June subsequently moved to Hilversum where she sheltered a young Jewish man named Levi Velleman in her home.
