Biography

During the Interbellum, Bracey was involved in the aid for Jewish children. In 1934, she was involved in the establishment of a school for Jewish children in the castle of Eerde (Netherlands). She was also instrumental in organizing the pre-war "Kindertransports" and aid to refugees. After the war, she was appointed by the Allied Control Commission to focus on the refugee affairs in post-war Germany and Theresienstadt.
