"As Commander of 2 Polish Corps, General Transport Companies, Lieutenant Colonel Głowacki rendered great service in the Supply and Transportation service during Operations from 9th to 21st April 1945.

By commanding 3rd Line Transportation during Operations against Bologna and after the capture of Bologna by Commanding the pool of Transportation placed under Command Eighth Army.

Thanks to his drive, leadership and the efficient manner in which he organised the work of this Transportation he made a considerable contribution to the success of the Operation."
