Biography

Dirk Voskamp Jr. was arrested on January 24th, 1942 together with three others for sabotage in the Westland (part of the Netherlands near Rotterdam). They derailed trains and set fire in a auction house for grocery. Herman Lucas, as leader of the group, was sentenced to death. Theo Trompert sentenced to 7 years har labor, Wim Neervoort and Dirk Voskamp both to 8 years har labor. Dirk died on February 14th, 1943 due to his work in an unhealthy factory Wim and Theo survived the hard labor. Dirk Voskamp Jr. was the son to Dirk Voskamp Sr..
